The Environmental Media Awards held its annual awards gala Saturday. 'The Problem With Jon Stewart’ and 'Yellowstone’ took home trophies as well as special honors for Nikki Reed.
On Saturday night, the Environmental Media Association hosted its annual awards gala to recognize those who are working towards a healthier planet.
The Problem with Jon Stewart, Yellowstone, Abbott Elementary and Don't Look up were some of the featured productions
That were honored for their efforts in following green practices, telling stories about environmental justice, climate action, sustainability, and other issues.
At Los Angeles' Sunset Las Palmas Studios the event also presented Billie Eilish, a superstar, and Maggie Baird, a EMA Missions in Music Award to recognize their environmental efforts.
The mother-daughter team created "Overheated", an additional component to Eilish’s Happier than Ever, The World Tour.
It featured climate-focused activities such as clothing swaps, document screenings and plant-based conversations. This allows them to raise awareness about sustainable fashion.
The event was co-organized with Baird's charity Support + Feed which focuses on climate change and food insecurity with plant-based food.
