Captain Marvel Star Brie Larson was at the Disney content showcase, D23, over the weekend. There, she was inquired about her future as the hero of galactic proportions. She was not shy in her answer that came shortly after she revealed that she’d felt “tired” while filming previous films in Marvel’s Marvel series.

Over the course of the weekend, Disney unveiled new movies along with Disney Plus for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars at their annual event, D23.

A panel was focused on the film The Marvels, which involves an adventure featuring Ms. Marvel, Captain Marvel, and Monica Rambeau (soon to become Photon or a different Captain Marvel).

Following the event, Brie Larson, the actor behind Captain Marvel Captain Marvel and Carol Danvers, was quizzed about her plans for the future. The answer was not exactly a rousing.

Larson has faced lots of criticism throughout the course of the year over the character she plays in Captain Marvel after her film came out.

The character’s story and motivations were criticised, especially in comparison to Captain America’s historical background.

Film critics have also have described Larson’s work as “flat” and “nonchalant” (Via We Got This Covered).

When her question was posed at the D23 red carpet about her future role as Captain Marvel, she didn’t shy away from the question at all.

Larson was approached to answer a question by Variety: “How long will you play Captain Marvel for?”

She sighed “I don’t know,” before looking straight at the camera, and then slamming her fingers out.

She asked: “Does anyone want me to do it again?”

The reporter responded: “Don’t be so modest.” Larson was not finished with her answer yet, but she was not done.

Larson was later able to clarify her statements regarding what the future holds for Captain Marvel.

She added: “I really don’t know. I don’t know the answer to that.”

This could be a devastating disappointment for those who love Captain Marvel. When Larson “doesn’t know” whether she’ll play the character in the near future, The Marvels could be her last appearance as the character.

The most recent Disney Plus show Ms Marvel might have introduced its title hero to replace Captain Marvel going forward.

Larson also opened up about the process of filming her first solo film, and reflected on the hardship she had to endure for it.

Larson was questioned about her methods of keeping Disney the Marvel’s and Disney’s secrets during films and press events.

However, her response confirmed that she was “tired” during the film’s production.

She added: “On the first [film], I’d be like: ‘You have no idea how many aliens I fought today,’ and that would just be my way of being like ‘I’m tired.'”

In a subsequent interview, she discussed the secret she keeps, she explained: “I dunno, there’s something about having a secret that’s kinda fun, when it’s this, you know what I mean? And it’s like delightful, I don’t want to ruin the experience for people I want them to go to the theatre, it’s so much fun.”
