Over twelve people dead and fourteen others injured are reported after a bus crash caused a horrible bus accident in Chhattisgarh on the 10th of April, 2024. The tragedy was the accident which happened on the Kanker-Bhanupratappur route in Kanker district of state, for which there arose the shock and the state of mourning all over.
It is being revealed that this bus was carrying at least 25 passengers when it suddenly moved out of the road and broke the cliff. The accident was so severe that the bus was even torn apart and that obstacles in the rescue work increased.
This response included the very timely output of the police and fire department, they instigated a major rescue operation. The injured were transported to nearby medical centers where treatment was performed, and the dead were sent to the morgue for postmortem.

Prime Minister Mr. Modi and Vice- President Ms. Droupadi Murmu also expressed their grief and commiserations over the unfortunate tragedy. In a tweet, PM Modi said, “I mourn for the families who lost their loved ones in Chhattisgarh tragic bus accident.” Also, I pray for the speedy recover of the injured.
The president also shared her sympathies and remarked that she was seriously arrested by the death toll of the bus accident in Chhattisgarh. I convey my deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and wish all the injured persons quick healing.
The accident was still being investigated as to the cause of it but initial reports were that the bus driver may have lost control due to overspeeding or because the bus was overloaded. The Chhattisgarh government has uttered that it will pay a sum to the families of the dead and the injured, and has started an inquiry into the reason of this incident.
The incidence again emphasizes the aspect of improving road safety facilities and carrying out strict implementation of traffic laws. However, the government of Chhattisgarh is petitioned to act immediately so as to stop such accidents from happening again.
The final words are, that, a tragic bus accident in Chhattisgarh has taken the lives of 12 and 14 others have been injured, the incident has caused despair and sorrow in everyone.
