CBSE has started the registration process for CTET July 2024. Candidates who want to appear for the July session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test can apply by visiting the official website of CBSE CTET at ctet.nic.in. The CTET exam will be held on July 7, 2024. The last date for submission of online application is 2nd April 2024. The last date for fee submission is also April 2, 2024. CTET will be conducted in 20 languages in 136 cities.
CBSE conducts the CTET exam twice every year. The first test is conducted in the month of July and the second in the month of December. Successful candidates appearing in Paper-I of CTET will be considered eligible for recruitment of teachers for Class 1 to Class 5. The successful candidates appearing in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for recruitment of teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who clear this exam will be eligible to apply for the posts of teachers in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas and Army Schools across the country.
① The validity of the CTET certificate will be lifelong.
② The admit card will be released two days before the exam. The CTET result will be declared at the end of August.
③ If there is any mistake in the application form, it can be corrected between April 8 and April 12, 2024.

⑦ What is the minimum number of marks required?
All the candidates need to score minimum qualifying marks to qualify the CTET exam. The minimum passing marks for CTET is 90 out of 150 (60 per cent) for general category candidates and 82 out of 150 (55 per cent) for SC / ST candidates.
⑧ Schedule of examination
CTET Paper-2 will be held on July 7 from 9.30 am to 12 noon. The paper will be of two and a half hours.
CTET Paper-1 will be held on July 7 from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. The paper will be of two and a half hours.

CTET Paper-1 (for class 1 to 5) will consist of 150 questions of 150 marks.
