(i) Documents that are asked as proof of identity.

  • Copy pensioner card with applicant’s photograph
  • Aadhar Card
  • Passport, voter ID card.
  • Central Government Health Scheme
  • Arm’s License
  • Photo ID card issued by the central government, state government, or public sector undertakings like university or college
  • Driving license
  • Ration cards containing the applicant’s photograph
  • A certificate issued by an authorized Indian bank duly certified and includes the applicant’s photograph and bank account number.

(ii) Documents that are accepted as proof of date of birth

  • Person’s Passport
  • Person’s Driving License
  • Dominic Certificate (Original Residence Certificate) issued by the State Government or Government of India
  • Affidavits refer to the date of birth of a person and an affidavit understand by the magistrate containing the letter mentioning its date of delivery.
  • Birth Certificate issued by Indian Consulate
  • Person’s Aadhaar Card
  • Marriage Certificate issued by the office of the Registrar of Marriages

How to apply for PAN Card? New PAN Card Application Form

Step 1: You can visit the official website of either of the two.

 Here, www.nsdl.co. is the official website of National Securities Depository Limited. And, www.utiitsl.com is the official website of UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited. Or you can use the link in step 2 directly to its page.


Step 2: After clicking on the above link on the official website, you will be redirected to a URL –


 https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/endUserRegisterContact.html. Here, you have two options for online and registered users. If you’re applying for it for the first time, click Apply Online. Then fill in everything you’re asking right from the box below, and then click Submit.

Step 3: Now comes the most essential step: submitting documents, which you have read about above. Now, here are three key ways to give the paper.

Either you can physically submit all documents to the NSDL office. The second option is to scan and upload the documents online on the NSDL website. The third and easiest is to provide your Aadhaar number, and the remaining copies will be automatically verified by NSDL via Aadhaar ID.

Step 4: If you choose to go with an Aadhaar card only, you only need to go through OTP (One Time Password) and the Direct Payment option.

Step 5: You must now select documents submitted as proof of identity, proof of address, or proof of age or birth date. The next step is to pay online. Indian citizens will have to pay Rs 120 online. After successfully making an online payment, you’ll be sent an email giving you all the information to track your PAN card.

How to link Aadhaar to PAN via UIDAI – 2021

Step 1: Search for “Income Tax Directorate” on Google. You can directly link your PAN card to your aadhaar card by visiting the official government website www.incometaxindiaefilling.gov.in.
