Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan reprising the roles of important characters from The Ramayana. The film earned tremendous money at the box office in the first three days, but poor reviews and unbalanced VFX and dialogues took a tremendous toll on its total business.

‘Adipurush’ has not shown any signs of growth since the first working week. Even on weekends, the collection has been poor and in single digits. On the 9th day, the film managed to earn Rs 5.25 crore in all languages. The collection is poor considering the star cast and production costs. The total collection of ‘Adipurush’ now stands at around Rs 263.5 crore.

Meanwhile, to revive the collection, the makers reduced the ticket prices to just Rs 150. Om Raut and dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir also worked on the dialogues to attract more audience. However, despite everything, the film continues to flop. Given that the film was made on a large scale, the box office figures are worrisome.
In the film, Prabhas plays Ram, Sita plays Kriti and Saif Ali Khan plays Ravana. The film is inspired by the Ramayana, one of the most watched epics in India.
