After the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the guests and expressed his joy that Lord Ram has finally arrived at his birthplace after decades of waiting. He said that Ram Lalla will no longer reside in a tent and that the sunrise of January 22 marks the origin of a new time cycle.
Modi also apologized to Lord Shri Ram, saying that there must have been something lacking in their effort, sacrifice, and penance that they could not do this work for so many centuries. He expressed his gratitude towards the judiciary for doing justice in the decades-long legal battle over the ownership of Ram Janmabhoomi.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that Ram Lalla has returned to Ayodhya after a wait of 500 years. He paid his utmost respect to Ram Lalla and said that the stories of Ram Lalla have so much power that they can erase all sorrows and pains.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath also spoke on the occasion and said that the establishment of Ram Lalla is an announcement of Ram Rajya. He said that the streets of Ayodhya will no longer echo with gunshots and that there will be no curfew. Instead, there will be Deepotsav and Ramotsav, and Shri Ram’s name ‘Sankirtan’ will echo in the streets.
